My Review:

I thought this book was very cute and an easy read. As someone who has an anxiety disorder, it was nice to read a book that captured it so well. I loved Audrey, I thought she was a very sweet main character and I loved reading her journey and how she progressed throughout the book. I was a little thrown off by her age at first for some reason. It just felt like she was older than she was, but then I realized age doesn't matter.

I adored the relationship between Audrey and Linus, and how he slowly got her to be more comfortable with things. Like contact, and going out to public places. I thought they were very sweet together! I also loved the family dynamic. Everyone is so supportive with Audrey, and I loved that. It's a hard thing to live with, and it is nice to know when you have a group of people you feel comfortable with and make you feel normal. I loved Frank, I thought he was hilarious. I found the mom to be annoying at times, but also funny at times. Her whole issue with Frank going on his computer to play games was a little over the top for me.

But overall, I really enjoyed this book! I thought it was very sweet, and a very accurate portrayal of what having an anxiety disorder is like. Obviously it's different for everyone, not everyone walks around in dark glasses because they can't handle eye contact, but I just felt like this book was saying all the right things when it came to anxiety and what's it like living with it.

What did you think of Finding Audrey?
