My Review:
I tried so hard to like this book, and I just couldn't. I finished it so that's something. But I just found the main character to be so whiny and constantly complaining about the same thing over and over throughout the whole book. It felt like every chapter she was complaining about being to tall and complaining about her sister. Honestly that's basically the whole book in a nutshell.
But the thing is I'm not going to let this stop me from reading Sarah Dessen's books. I've heard nothing but good things about her books. This was her first book and it was originally published back in 1996. So I will give her the benefit of the doubt, and carry on reading her books. I want to read them all in order. The good thing about this book is that it's very short, so it was a quick read. It's also set in summer, obviously, but it got me so excited because summer is my favourite season.
